On 16 April, a vibrant gathering of 42 individuals came together at Selborne Golf Estate in KwaZulu-Natal for a transformative Vihasa training retreat. The group included 32 transdisciplinary professionals, six facilitators, and four support staff members representing five countries across Southern Africa: Botswana, Mozambique, Eswatini, South Africa, and Zimbabwe. As part of VIHASA’s ongoing commitment to bringing values-based learning into workplaces and communities across South Africa, a short Inner Values session was held for intern learners at the Laduma Head Office in Mpumalanga

There is something powerful that happens when people from different areas of healthcare come together with an open mind and a willingness to reflect. This was beautifully demonstrated during a recent VIHASA Inner Values Module in Mpumalanga, where two diverse groups of healthcare professionals and auxiliary staff embraced the opportunity to explore the values that shape their work and relationships.

VIHASA recently held a meaningful engagement at the Provincial Government Boulevard, Riverside Building in Nelspruit, creating an opportunity for participants to explore the importance of inner values and their role in professional life.

On Thursday, 28 November 2025, VIHASA had the privilege of facilitating the Inner Values Module at FAMSA, bringing together a small and inspiring group of approximately eight participants. Among those attending were the Director of FAMSA and social workers representing various NGOs.

On 5 October 2025, VIHASA hosted a meaningful workshop in Johannesburg, bringing participants together for the first module of a journey exploring Inner Values.
