Bringing Inner Values into the Workplace
VIHASA | Riverside Building, Nelspruit | 3 February 2026
VIHASA recently held a meaningful engagement at the Provincial Government Boulevard, Riverside Building in Nelspruit, creating an opportunity for participants to explore the importance of inner values and their role in professional life.
The engagement provided a space for reflection and conversation around how values influence the way we communicate, make decisions and work with others.
Values in Everyday Work
Our values shape not only who we are, but also how we interact with the people and communities around us. Values such as respect, compassion, integrity, cooperation and understanding can contribute to healthier relationships and more positive working environments.
The VIHASA engagement encouraged participants to reflect on their own values and consider how these can be expressed through everyday actions and interactions.
Creating Space for Reflection
A key part of the VIHASA approach is creating opportunities for people to pause, look within and reconnect with what truly matters.
Through shared reflection and conversation, participants were invited to consider how greater awareness of their inner values can influence their professional relationships and the way they contribute to their workplace.
Living Our Values
The engagement in Nelspruit forms part of VIHASA's broader commitment to encouraging values-based living and working across communities and organisations.
By bringing greater awareness to our inner values, we can create opportunities for more conscious choices, meaningful relationships and positive contribution.
When values move from within us into our everyday actions, they have the power to transform the way we work and connect with others.
