Sat, 01 Aug
|1st Scout Hall
This workshop explores how to cultivate compassion for ourselves and others while developing tools to prevent burnout and sustain wellbeing.

Time & Location
01 Aug 2026, 10:00 – 13:00
1st Scout Hall, 30 Hof Street, Tableview
About the event
Competence and compassion are important aspects of good care yet what we do can leave us physically, psychologically and spiritually exhausted. We are expected to and want to be compassionate, yet the cumulative exposure to crisis in clients lives can take a toll on our own wellbeing, leading to burnout.
Join us to explore compassion, what it means for the self and others, understanding the barriers to compassion, and how to stay compassionate using tools that allow us not to be depleted.
